Repair ZIL-5301
The fuel supply drive device is shown in Fig. 1.
The drive can be disassembled and assembled in any sequence.
When assembling the drive, it must be adjusted in the following order:
The coarse filter is designed to pre-clean the fuel from mechanical impurities and water and is located on the frame in front of the fuel tank.
The ZIL-5301 and its modifications are equipped with a voltage regulator mod. 4202.3702 (installation of mod. 206.3702 or 207.3702 is possible), designed to work with the generator mod. 2022.3771, and having two isolated terminals "Ш" and "+"
Checking the tension of the generator, water pump, and compressor drive belts D-245E3
Check every 5 thousand km.
Check using the KI-8920 device in the following order:
A two-section brake valve is used to control the actuators of the vehicle's service brake system. The two-section brake valve is mounted on the front shield of the cabin.
Figure 1 shows the D-245E3 engine control system.
Press the bushings using a special mandrel (see Fig. 1) into the holes of the steering knuckle flush with the surface so that the open ends of the grooves on the bushings are facing the inside of the knuckle (the pressing force must be at least 10 kN)
