Removing the generator
Replacing the windshield of GAZ-3110
Unscrew the fastening bolts and remove the instrument panel from the body (see article - GAZ-3110 instrument panel removal).
Remove the windshield blower pipes.
Assembly procedure for the ZMZ-402 engine
- - clean all mating surfaces of the block from gaskets stuck and torn during disassembly;
Disassembly and assembly of the intermediate shaft of the GAZ-3110 gearbox
Press ball bearings 1 and, if necessary, pressed-on gear rings from the intermediate shaft
We remove the carburetor for repair or replacement
Remove the air filter.
Removal and installation of the ZMZ-402 cylinder head of the GAZ-3110
We install the car on a viewing hole or on a lift
Remove the engine in the following order:
