The steering gear must be delivered to the work site where the disassembly and repair of the steering gear will be performed only after it has been thoroughly cleaned of dirt and washed on the outside with kerosene or another degreasing liquid.

Before assembly, all parts must be thoroughly washed and dried

Cylinder liners and cylinder block seating surfaces under the liners should be wiped with a napkin and blown with compressed air

Install the cylinder liners in the diesel block

Remove the pump from the engine.

The timing mechanism consists of a camshaft, intake and exhaust valves, as well as parts for their installation and drive: tappets, rods, rocker arms, adjusting screws with nuts, plates with crackers, springs, struts and rocker arm shafts

The steering device is shown in Figure 1.

The steering gear is with a hydraulic booster, located in a common housing with the steering gear; it has a screw with a nut on circulating balls and a piston-rack with a toothed sector.
