Repair ZIL-5301
The fuel supply drive device is shown in Fig. 1.
The drive can be disassembled and assembled in any sequence.
When assembling the drive, it must be adjusted in the following order:
ZIL-5301 vehicles and its modifications are equipped with an alternating current generator mod. 2022.3701, ZIL buses are equipped with an alternating current generator mod. 3882.3701
The pressure regulator (Fig. 1) is designed for automatic regulation of pressure in the pneumatic system within 0.65 - 0.8 MPa, as well as for protecting pneumatic drive units from oil contamination and excessive pressure increase in the event of failure of the regulating device
The injector is used to inject and atomize fuel supplied to the diesel cylinders.
The MMZ 245.12 diesel engine uses a closed-type injector with hydraulic needle lift control

Diesel control is remote, from the driver's seat. The installation of instruments and controls of the diesel engine is carried out by the consumer when installing the diesel engine on the vehicle

The driver's seat adjusts quickly. If the driver is under 80 kg or more, then the seat shock absorbers are quickly “covered”. If, God forbid, he is taller than average, then the back of the seat rests against the wall of the cabin and is wiped in a few days
All parts of the boost corrector (BC) to be assembled must be clean, and the rubbing surfaces must be lubricated with engine oil
Wiping parts with a wiping material is not allowed.
