Repair ZIL-5301
Bleeding air from the ZIL-5301 clutch control system
The hydraulic system of the clutch control mechanism consists of a master cylinder, an actuator cylinder with a pneumatic booster, a flexible hose and a pipeline
Usually vibration on ZIL-5301 is felt most at a speed of 60-70 km/h
If vibration occurs when driving ZIL-5301:
When removing the clutch from the vehicle, it is necessary to disconnect the clutch release drive. This work can be performed both with and without disconnecting the pipelines
Fill the brake system with brake fluid.
Fill the pneumatic drive with compressed air.
ZIL-5301 vehicles are equipped with a combined pneumatic-hydraulic brake drive with two independent hydraulic pneumatic circuits, divided into two circuits until July 2001, option 1 (Fig. 1a), and currently - option 2 (Fig. 1b)
