An electric torch heater (EFU) is used to facilitate starting the engine at ambient temperatures below -5 ˚s to -25 ˚s.

The crankshaft is steel, made by hot stamping. The shaft journals are hardened with high frequency heating

When disconnecting the high pressure fuel line from the injector (except for model 51 injectors), hold the injector fitting with a wrench to prevent it from unscrewing and fuel leakage

To adjust the rear wheel bearings;

  • - raise the rear of the car;

Plunger type high pressure fuel pump (high pressure fuel pump), driven by the camshaft through the fuel pump drive gear

Removing the connecting rod and piston group

Number the connecting rods and connecting rod caps in accordance with the number of the cylinder on the side opposite the camshaft (if this is not provided for by the design)

The central gearbox of the rear axle, after being removed from the car for repair, is disassembled on a workbench 500-600 mm high in the following sequence:
