The gearbox of the MAZ-5335 car and its modifications during repair are disassembled in three stages: partial disassembly, general disassembly of units
Only the crankcase, input shaft bearing cap, intermediate shaft, reverse gear block, third gear of the output shaft, oil pump housing and base are subject to repair in the gearbox
An electric torch heater (EFU) is used to facilitate starting the engine at ambient temperatures below -5 ˚s to -25 ˚s.

Entering into diagnostic mode
The electronic unit is turned on in the diagnostic mode by pressing the diagnostic button 12 (Fig. ) and holding it on for 0.5 to 3.0 seconds, with the ground switch and the starter and instrument switches on ( the lock must be in the “instrument” position)
- Cause of malfunction - Remedy
Engine won't start:
- The starter does not turn the crankshaft or rotates it very slowly
YAMZ-650 lubrication system mixed with a "wet" sump
Removing the vibration damper (damper). (See Fig. 1)
Using a special tool (see Fig. 2), secure the flywheel against rotation.
