Installing cylinder heads, valve rocker arms and adjusting valve clearances

The cylinder head mounting studs are screwed into the right and left rows of the cylinder block, having previously lubricated the threaded holes for the studs in the block with diesel oil

When vehicles are equipped with air suspension, an electronic control system of the ECAS type (by Wabco) is installed

Disassembly of the cylinder head (guided by Fig. 1)

1. Unscrew the nuts (311442) securing the fuel supply fittings to the injectors

Compressor capacity at 2000 rpm engine crankshaft - 201 l/min

Only the crankcase, input shaft bearing cap, intermediate shaft, reverse gear block, third gear of the output shaft, oil pump housing and base are subject to repair in the gearbox

Removing the connecting rod and piston group

Number the connecting rods and connecting rod caps in accordance with the number of the cylinder on the side opposite the camshaft (if this is not provided for by the design)
