Troubleshooting and repair of the GAZ-3110 cylinder block
To determine the technical condition and repair of the cylinder block, remove the engine from the vehicle (see "Removal and installation of ZMZ-406 GAZ-3110") and disassemble it.
We remove the generator for repair or replacement, as well as when repairing the power plant
Removing the generator
Turning off the ignition, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery
Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector
The oil pump is removed, repaired or replaced during a major engine overhaul or when the pressure in the lubrication system decreases
The carburetor should be removed from the engine mainly to flush it from dirt and resins, since repairs and adjustments of most of its systems and elements can be carried out without dismantling
The ZMZ-4062 engine does not have the usual idling system, like in a carburetor

Belts are replaced when they are worn out
