Repair of the ZIL-5301 car cabin
On the ZIL-5301 car, which is already more than 10 years old, the bottom of the cabin needs to be welded in some places.
Patches need to be installed. Particularly susceptible are the corners of the cabin and the places where the cabin is attached to the frame.
The ZIL-5301 vehicle with division along the sides uses a flangeless two-cavity brake chamber, designed to act on the master brake cylinder and installed together with it on a bracket on the front panel of the cabin under the hood of the vehicle

The car and bus are equipped with a leading rear axle with a single-stage hypoid final drive (Fig. 1).
The final drive ratio is 3.273 or 3.45.
The differential is a bevel gear with four satellites.
The quick release valve is designed to reduce the actuation time of the parking brake by accelerating the release of air from the energy accumulator by reducing the path traveled by compressed air and increasing the flow area during release
Cylinder liners and cylinder block seating surfaces under the liners should be wiped with a napkin and blown with compressed air
Install the cylinder liners in the diesel block
