Adjusting the ZIL-5301 Parking Brake
The ZIL-5301 vehicles and AMO ZIL buses are equipped with a parking brake system driven by a spring energy accumulator (Fig. 1)
Before assembly, the spring sheets must be lubricated with graphite grease.
The springs are assembled in the device shown in Fig. 1.
The signaling device is designed to warn the driver about damage to one of the circuits of the hydraulic drive brake system
On the ZIL-5301, in addition to the voltage regulator relay, which is located to the left of the driver's seat below, there is also an excitation winding relay
Installing the ZIL-5301 valve timing mechanism
The valve timing shield gasket must not have any visible damage
Nots and other mechanical damage to the machined surfaces of the 4 valve timing shield are not allowed
