Repair ZIL-5301
The ZIL-5301 and its modifications are equipped with a voltage regulator mod. 4202.3702 (installation of mod. 206.3702 or 207.3702 is possible), designed to work with the generator mod. 2022.3771, and having two isolated terminals "Ш" and "+"
The hydraulic drive pressure regulator on vehicles with a split drive on the sides is designed to adjust the brake fluid pressure when braking the vehicle in order to prevent the rear wheels from locking when the vehicle is partially loaded
The final drive can be adjusted or repaired without removing the rear axle from the vehicle.
The preload of the final drive bearings, the lateral clearance in the engagement and the contact patch are adjusted at the factory and, as a rule, they do not require adjustment during operation.
Adjusting the ZIL-5301 Parking Brake
The ZIL-5301 vehicles and AMO ZIL buses are equipped with a parking brake system driven by a spring energy accumulator (Fig. 1)
