Maintenance and adjustment of the UAZ-3151 clutch
The clutch (Fig. 1) of the car is dry, single-disc, with hydraulic release.
Repair and maintenance of the front axle UAZ-3151
The main gear and differential of the front axle are similar in design to the rear axle
Assemble the differential in the following order:
- 1. Before assembling the differential, lubricate the axle gears, pinions, thrust washers and pinion axles with transmission oil
Fill the hydraulic drive with fluid and pump it to remove air in the following order:
If the amplifier fails, only the force from the driver’s foot is transmitted to the pistons of the master cylinder through pusher 33 (see Fig. 1), control valve, buffer 20 and rod 7
Replace pistons when the groove of the upper piston ring or piston skirt is worn
If the oil pump parts wear out a lot, the pressure in the lubrication system decreases and noise appears
