Symptom - Remedy
The generator does not provide charging current
Malfunction in the circuit generator - relay-regulator - battery or in the ground circuit - Find damage in the wiring or contacts and eliminate it:
Engine 3IL-131 V-shaped, eight-cylinder, four-stroke, carburetor, with liquid cooling
The steel camshaft with hardened cams and distributor drive gear is driven by two gears
The engine fuel system is forced, with fuel supplied by a diaphragm-type fuel pump
The pistons (Fig. 1) are made of aluminum alloy and coated with tin.
The piston skirt has the shape of an elliptical cone, the large base of which is located at the lower edge of the skirt, and the largest axis of the ellipse lies in the plane perpendicular to the axis of the piston pin.
The starting engine heater is designed to warm up the engine before starting it at low ambient temperatures
The gearbox is mechanical, three-speed, has five gears for moving forward and one for moving backward
