With increased clearance in the front wheel hub bearings, vibration is observed on the steering wheel in a certain speed range
In some vehicle configurations, it is possible to install an electromechanical power steering
The vehicle is equipped with a liquid-type heater 12 (Fig. 1), combined with the engine cooling system
External signs of the need to remove bearings for defect detection are:
- – increased noise when the wheel rotates;
Wheel speed sensors generate signals about the speed of each wheel of the vehicle, which are transmitted to the electronic control unit of the hydraulic unit.
Disconnect the wire from the "-" terminal of the battery.
Remove the generator for inspection, as well as for repair or replacement.
Change the grease in the bearings at intervals specified in the service book.
If there is not enough grease or it is contaminated, the bearings will quickly fail
