The rear wheel brake mechanism (Fig. 1) is a drum brake with automatic adjustment of the gap between the shoes and the drums.
Possible faults of the Niva Chevrolet clutch
Cause of fault
Remedy
Incomplete disengagement of the clutch (clutch "leads")
Master cylinder (Fig. 1) with sequential piston arrangement
The control oxygen concentration sensor (lamda probe) is installed in the exhaust pipe of the exhaust system
The rear axle of the car is made in the form of a hollow beam, to the ends of which flanges with seats for axle shaft bearings and holes for mounting brake shields are welded.
If the support check revealed the need to replace it (see "Checking the Niva Chevrolet Suspension"), replace it
Remove the master cylinder for replacement or repair if there is a fluid leak, the clutch does not fully disengage (may be caused by a fluid leak or wear of the seals), or if the clutch does not fully engage (as a result of the compensation hole being clogged or blocked by a swollen seal)
