Remove the sensors for inspection or replacement
External signs of the need to remove bearings for defect detection are:
- – increased noise when the wheel rotates;
You will need: 13 mm, 17 mm, 27 mm wrenches, and a lug wrench.
Disconnect the front propeller shaft from the front axle gearbox (see "Removing and lubricating the Niva propeller shaft").
Depending on the vehicle configuration, different schemes and options for auxiliary unit drives may be used.
Each diagnostic chart consists of two pages: "Additional information" and "Troubleshooting chart"
You will need: a micrometer, a caliper, a ruler
