Removing the steering mechanism
To do this you need to do the following:
Removing the window regulator
Remove the door trim (see the article - “How to remove the trim and front door lock of a Gazelle car”)
Removing the sliding door and disassembling its moving mechanism
We work together or three, as the door is heavy
The car has three brake systems:
- - working with a dual-circuit drive (separate braking of the axles), which acts on the brakes of all wheels;
Main brake cylinder GAZ-2705 removal and repair
The main brake cylinder with two successive pistons 10 and 17 and a two-section reservoir 4 with sensor 6 for an emergency brake fluid level drop indicator is attached to the cover of the vacuum booster
Adjustment of the steering mechanism is necessary when the vehicle's directional stability is low at high speed (you can't feel the steering wheel at high speed)
