Defection and repair of the ZMZ-405 GAZ-2705 cylinder block
To determine the technical condition and repair of the cylinder block, remove the engine from the car and disassemble it
Place a container for used oil under the engine crankcase
Unscrew the plug and drain the oil from the crankcase
Checking the level and adding fluid to the power steering reservoir
The reservoir is located on the left side of the engine compartment, next to the washer reservoir
Remove the locking ring if it remains on the input shaft
Remove the bulk rollers (14 pcs.) of the front bearing of the secondary shaft, if this has not been done previously
Steering column switches
The car uses two steering column switches mounted on the steering column.
On some vehicles, the sound signal is turned on by the turn signal and headlight switches, and on others - by the windshield wiper and washer switch
The cylinder head can be removed with the intake pipe and exhaust manifold. If the cylinder head is removed from an engine installed on a car, you must first perform the following operations:
- - drain the liquid from the cooling system;
To glue the windshield glass to the opening, use:
- adhesive-sealant “Terosat-8590” 1NU - ultra-viscous one-component black polyurethane-based sealant, characterized by a high rate of polymerization under the influence of air moisture with the formation of a rubber-like material
