Prepare the car for work. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Open the rear doors of the car.
Place the vehicle on a lift
For vehicles with air conditioning, bleed the refrigerant from the air conditioning system.
We remove the steering gear for repair or to replace the steering rods or protective covers and the steering gear itself
Remove the oxygen sensors if they fail and when dismantling the exhaust pipes
Remove the steering knuckle when replacing the hub bearing, repairing the front suspension strut
Usually, we remove the shock absorber if the shock absorber parts are out of order:
- - wear of the upper support bearing;
Install the gearbox on a special stand or workbench with the rear cover facing up
